Seó Linn

Seó Linn is a unique approach to making a play in a day.

Each class from 1st to 6th will have the opportunity to partake in a drama workshop -  each class will explore their own short scene. At the end of the day, the whole school will come together to share the six scenes, in a complete performance inspired by the legendary story of Scáthach.

Scáthach is the mighty Scottish warrior who trained Cú Chulainn. She is a fearsome figure, but in the end she discovers that rumours can be more powerful than weapons, and that truth and bravery can come in all shapes and sizes

A fun, fast-paced, and interactive experience for children, designed with input and research from primary school teachers teaching through Irish, and our experienced artistic team. Seó Linn has been created to be age and class appropriate, inclusive, and engaging. For any students who are less comfortable performing, there will be a place for everyone to take part - in front or behind the scenes.

This is a free workshop, available to all primary schools in the Galway area.
