When booking your tickets, please let us know if you have any special requirements. This will allow us to make every effort to ensure that you enjoy your visit as much as possible. If you are purchasing tickets online, you should email eolas@antaibhdhearc.ie to let us know your requirements. The main auditorium of An Taibhdhearc and the café-bar are fully wheelchair accessible.

How to reach An Taibhdhearc
By Foot
We are located at 19 Middle Street, Galway, one minute walk from Pier Street and 10 minutes walk from the city's train station and bus station.
On a Bike
There are two bike racks on Central Street: one near the Augustinian Church and one in the lane next to the church. Please use the bike racks – do not tie your bike to the railings.

On the Bus
The nearest bus stops are on Eyre Square and St. Francis Street. Bus Éireann and City Direct buses operate on various routes around Galway, and all buses going to (or from) the West Side stop close to the city centre. This is also true of most cross-city bus routes. More information is available at this link.
In the Car
There are two car parks close to us: one on Merchants Road (5 minutes walk) and one on Pier Street. Please allow yourself 10-15 minutes to find a parking space, however.
Tickets
Hard copies of tickets will not be issued. After you purchase your ticket, it will be emailed to you. Please ensure that you have this information with you on the day of the event. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 at all times.
When you reach An Taibhdhearc
Please arrive on time; it is best to arrive at the theatre at least 20 minutes before the start of the event. A member of our staff will meet you at the entrance to check your name and ticket – please have this information ready. This member of staff will show you where to go. At the entrance to the auditorium, another member of staff will show you where your seat is. Audience members should proceed directly to their seats when called.
Space in the Centre
Currently, the maximum number of people that can attend events in the theatre, including performers, crew, staff and audience, is 210. The auditorium can accommodate an audience of 140. The toilets are for customers only.
